This work was made in collaboration with Z Davis for an ephemeral project in a Site Specific and Installation sculpture class. This work deals with the deaths that have accumulated over time in ICE detention and serves as a remembrance for those individuals. The cage is built out of driftwood and found sticks and is fastened together with twine. The names of these lost individuals are both burned onto the sticks and projected onto the work and the background environment. The projection features an image of an individual in a fetal-like position.
